Kanye West doesn’t get out of bed for less than 24 bottles of Propel Water

The University of Arizona may have scored a concert coup with tonight’s Kanye West show, but they’re paying a steep price for it. After concert organizers had to eliminate seats because of safety concerns–and after student organizers found out just how much money it takes to pay for all those flashing lights–it turns out that the $500,000 show will put the Associated Students of the University of Arizona in the hole $150,000.

Even dropping hundred of thousands in Kanye’s deep pockets doesn’t get the ASUA out of their obligation to fulfill all of the rap-star requirements in Kanye’s concert rider. Among the items the ASUA must provide backstage: tapioca pudding, a Connect-4 game set, a bottle of hot sauce, eight bottles of Fuze Slenderize drink (”please Slenderize only!”), two love seats, and a box of Rice Krispie treats.
