The mystery hacker who got into Sarah Palin’s Yahoo account and then sent screenshots to Gawker is, apparently, no match for the Feds. They traced this digital Robin Hood to the University of Tennessee and produced a search warrant for the apartment of David Kernell, “son of Mike Kernell, a Democratic state representative from Memphis.”
The student displayed courage in the face of adversity: “Witnesses say Kernell and his friends fled the apartment when the FBI agents arrived.”
Because the internets take care of everything, here are screenshots of the Kernell’s Facebook page. Guilt by association! He is a member of Obama/Biden, College Democrats, and Anti-War, Pro-Kittens. Also Nerdy Pickup Lines, which will doubtless be useful in federal prison. If only Kernell were as clever about covering his tracks as he was at getting into the Yahoo account in the first place.
