Oh, You Wanted a Dorm Room…

Is there a better welcome to college than being shown to a lounge-cum-bedroom?
West Virginia University doesn’t think so. This year, a big chunk of incoming freshmen lived in lounges for the first week of classes. Most have moved into dorm rooms, but some are still stuck in loungeland. Not a big deal, since most people don’t like windows, closets, or privacy anyway.
As one WVU resident assistant summarized: “Overall, it is a pretty crappy situation.”
