Think Wesleyan’s excited about seeing the O-man live at commencement this weekend?
Alex Gelman ‘08: “I’m, like, ecstatic, really excited about it. My friend was really happy, jumping up and down. I really like him, I’m a supporter, I voted for him in the primary. I guess it’ll be interesting to see how he handles speaking at a commencement, it’s not a normal circumstance for a politician to speak in.”
Sarah Lonning ‘06: “Regardless of how I feel about him as a candidate, he is probably the biggest celebrity in the country right now. I can’t imagine anyone that the Wesleyan student body would possibly be more excited about. Maybe Gandhi, if he weren’t dead.”
Justin Costa ‘06: “I think its awesome that the next president is gonna be at our school.”
Kate Heller ‘09: “As far as politics go, I think this has been a pretty pro-Obama campus all year. People have sort of picked up the “Wes We Can” motto.”
Nick Pappadopoulos ‘08: “I think its gonna put Wesleyan in people’s minds as a pretty prestigious university”
Lola Pellegrino ‘08: You know that feeling when you’re so excited you have to pee? I’m feeling that. In my heart.”
