MIT has had it with being called “nerds.” According to the Boston Globe, three MIT students made this video to prove they can actually put aside their graphing calculators and NASA-grade model rockets long enough have artistic, athletic sides, too.
But why should they? Nerds are awesome! Nerds can do difficult math and build airplanes and fix our computers! So MIT, listen up: You’re really good at things that are super-useful and important, like engineering and science. Leave the book-reading and chest-painting to the lib-artsy types…it’s not much, but it’s all we have.
