The transition from living under your parents’ wing to first semester freshman year is rarely smooth, especially when you have to film it. In this interview with Unigo, Kevin Tracy doesn’t chalk up his partier, slacker image to editing. He says he didn’t hold back because “for the first couple weeks of shooting, I had no idea we would get picked up. Then when we did I was thinking, ‘Wow, I really didn’t filter anything!’”
Kevin also reveals that he is still filming the show on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, so it looks like College Life won’t be canceled anytime soon. Although Kevin was pretty coy about how much MTV paid him, he did admit that his main reason for doing the show was “definitely the financial situation, you get a TV and stuff just for carrying around a camera all the time.”
