Intern Indignities and Interesting Neighbors

Hey there. My most recent trip back to El Lay on Tuesday was a personal best record time: departed San Rafael at 1:44p.m. made it to my apartment at 6:07 p.m….4 hours and 23 minutes, despite stopping for gas twice! My weekend at home was extended through Monday, thanks to some not-so-breaking CA budget crisis news coverage:

This week at the office is especially uneventful, due to the bureau’s two-day sexual harassment training. Apparently, as an intern I am immune to sexual harassment or am innocent should I transgress protocol, because much to my disappointment, I am exempt from attending. Coincidentally, just within the first week of moving into my current abode, I quickly became acquainted with my ‘friendly’ neighbors…

All in all, not the busiest of weeks, but certainly not the least interesting.
