Gossip Gang Does it Co-Ed Style

Last night’s “New Haven Can Wait” Gossip Girl followed S, B and their band of Gossip guys as they wrecked havoc and broke hearts at Yale University. Well, kinda. The show took place at the Connecticut Ivy but was actually filmed at Columbia University. But let’s fuhgeddaboudit and move onto the juicy details.

It’s been Blair’s dream to attend Yale while the more free-spirited Serena has her sights set on Brown. In an opening scene, S declares, “Yale is for overachieving preppies and bookworms — the Blairs of the world.” But as the gods of the Upper East Side would have it, both end up with back-to-back interviews with Yale’s Dean. Serena charms his socks off while plain, good on paper Blair fumbles. As a result the Dean invites Serena to an exclusive Early Admission candidates party at his house. Some other stuff happened and then — there was this. Scandal, backstabbing, catfights — doesn’t it just take you back to your college admissions process?
