Go Virtual, Young Man!

Eager for independence after having been recently censored by their administration, some Quinnipiac University journalism students have decided to go paper-free, money-free, and oversight-free. Instead of continuing to put out the Chronicle, these young Judith Millers will focus their efforts on the online-only Quad News.
The trouble started two years ago when Jason Braff ‘08 quarreled with his cave-dwelling administration about whether or not the paper was allowed to break news online, if doing so could embarrass those who, like President John Lahey, don’t read the internets.
We applaud Braff and his colleagues for their initiative. Print media is in more trouble than R. Kelly these days; way to get out while the getting’s good.
