Former UA Linebacker is Feeling the Blow

It’s been a tough week for former University of Alabama linebacker, Jimmy Johns. On Tuesday he was arrested and charged with five counts of selling cocaine and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He was promptly booted off the football team by coach, has dropped out of school, and has nothing else to do but wait around at home for his trial to proceed. Police say they have video footage of Johns dealing to people cooperating with the West Alabama Narcotics task force. If found guilty, the 21-year old may face two to 20 years in prison and a $30,000 per cocaine distribution charge fine. On top of that, add one to 10 years in jail and a $15,000 fine for possession. The bad news train doesn’t end there. Since he was caught selling within three miles of campus (one sale was allegedly on the parking lot of the UA football complex), Johns could be slapped with an even harsher sentence. That one came up a little rough.
