Does the Carpet Match the Drapes… er, Dorm?

Dorm room floors are quite possibly the most disgusting part of dorm life. Whether you have grimy tile or mangy carpet, if there’s a chance of being contaminated with a foot fungus, get yourself a rug before setting bare tootsies on that floor.

There are a lot of heinous grandma rugs out there, so I’ve narrowed down your options to the coolest carpeting to match any motif.

For a good ol’ throw down, Target has this badass zebra-skin rug for your inner safari explorer as well as some beachy striped and simple shag rugs. PB Teen has rugs that range from adorable polka-dots and bouncy flowers to more boy-friendly, rugged designs.

If you’re in the mood for a DIY project, check out the Flor carpet tiles. You can custom-design your own rug in any pattern or color imaginable and the tiles are great for filling an awkwardly shaped space. Don’t be intimidated by the wall-to-wall project, these Flor tiles are super easy to put together.
