College Students Can’t Get Enough Toilet Paper

Nothing makes college students act less like the adults they’re supposedly becoming than a big win. After the Florida Gators beat the Oklahoma Sooners last week, fans in “orange and blue shirts, wigs, hats, jerseys, beads, scarves, plastic Hawaiian leis, and face paint” — and, for one student, “lucky underwear” — went crazy.
Chants of “It’s great to be a Florida Gator” and “Orange” and “Blue” filled the night. Streams of toilet paper sailed over the crowd and people stood on top of crosswalk signals. Across the street, a shirtless fan did pull–ups from the top of a street pole.
Toilet paper decorations aren’t just a Florida thing. Wake Forest students, too, turn the quad into a giant bathroom after major victories:
