College Life Episode 5: Moving out and moving on

Suddenly things have gotten good! And I hate to admit it, because this makes it like every other staged reality show out there, but it’s because the characters within the show are starting to interact. Lindsay + Josh…love it! And I can’t wait to see the ensuing catfight between Lindsay and Andrea next week. It didn’t take much for Josh to move on after all that angst in the last five episodes, and suddenly Andrea realizes that when she asked him to move on, what she really meant was that she wanted to move on but that he should stay in love with her forever. Josh’s response: “She gives me everything you don’t.”

Ouch!

Some big changes for Kevin, too, who’s moving out of the dorm and realizing too late how good he had it. His convincing pitch to move into a house: on frat row, living with two 21-year-olds. Somehow, his mom goes for it, and Kevin moves in. The house? Even too disgusting for him. I seriously feel almost dirty just looking at it: old pasta and beer cans, a broken toilet outside, dishes everywhere. That can’t smell good. How the tables have turned…suddenly Kevin is the one upset by other people partying too much.
