David Kernell, the boy genius who reset the answers to Sarah Palin’s Yahoo! mail security questions and got a surprise visit by the FBI, operated alone. Or so says Zack Kelley, president of the University of Tennessee College Democrats:

“I want everyone to know that the College Democrats were in no way connected to the hacking of Sarah Palin’s email,” said Zak Kelley, president of the political group. Kelley said he has never met David Kernell.

Unlikely, but let’s give the poor guy the benefit of the doubt. After all, their enemies are:

“Some of them are my friends and I don’t think they are responsible for this,” said Tyler Lewelling, a spokesperson for the UT College Republicans.

Warring factions brought together by a federal investigation. Now that’s the change we need.
